August 2026 K-pop Comebacks: Stray Kids, TWICE, ENHYPEN & Everything Announced So Far
If July was the month of soloists, August 2026 is the month of heavyweights. When this page first went up the schedule had a handful of names on it; it has since filled out, with the back half of the month landing last. Here’s everything announced so far — see the August 2026 calendar for the day-by-day view as it updates.
The headliners
Stray Kids — “THIS & THAT” (August 7), plus “SKZ-REPLAY 2026 Pt.1” (August 1). Two releases in one week: a compilation opening the month with “Battle Ground (Korean Ver.),” then a new mini album with a same-named title track six days later.
TWICE — “#BEST 2015-2025” (August 26). A Japanese best album covering the decade named in its title, from the group’s 2015 debut onward. Compilations rarely feel like events, but a ten-year marker from one of the most consistently charting groups in the genre is a different kind of release.
ENHYPEN — “THE SIN : BLISS” (August 21). The 8th mini album continues the group’s long-running dark-concept universe, led by a title track called “Bloody Paradise” — a name that promises exactly the kind of theatrical concept ENHYPEN does best. If you want the backstory, we untangled it in ENHYPEN’s DARK MOON, explained.
Red Velvet — “Velvet Summer” (August 3). Red Velvet and summer releases are a K-pop institution. A summer mini album led by “Surfin’ Boy” opening the month is the kind of announcement that instantly sets expectations for song-of-the-summer contention.
NCT 127 — “BLINGY” (August 24). The group’s seventh full album, led by a title track that shares its name: “Blingy.”
BIGBANG — “BiiiG” (August 19). A digital single with a same-named title track, arriving on the most crowded date of the month — August 19 alone carries eight releases.
TAEMIN — “PHASE 1 : Soft Violence” (August 31). The month closes with a new TAEMIN album, announced alongside a 2026–27 world tour that opens in Seoul before heading to North and South America.
Debuts and firsts
August is unusually front-loaded with first releases.
- Picheolin (DINO of SEVENTEEN) — 1st mini album “吉BOARD” (August 3), led by “놀아보세 (prod. Hitchhiker).” Picheolin is Dino’s alter ego, and the album arrives after two pre-release singles in July.
- HUH JIWON — 1st mini album “The Calling” with “CALL ME UP” (August 5, 12PM KST)
- AEN — 1st EP “A NEW ERA OF NOW,” title “X to Z (Next to Me)” (August 5)
- MASHIRO (MADEIN) — 1st EP “24/11” with “HOTLINE (Feat. BOBBY)” (August 19)
- Tiffany Young — first full album “Edge of Calm” (August 20), pairing the same-named title track with “Lips Together (feat. MIYEON)”
- TUIDE — debut EP “TUNE & PLAY” with “SUN KISS” (August 24, 6PM KST)
- Splayit — debut single “SPLAY : CHAPTER 01” (August 13), pairing “Last bus(막차)” and “Domino” as a double title track
- OURBIRTHDAY — debut single album “Our Birthday” with “SQUEEZY” (August 19, 6PM KST), from INNIT’s seven-member girl group, following their July digital single “HUNGRY (Side A)”
- HYORISOO — Girls’ Generation’s third official subunit, made up of Hyoyeon, Yuri and Sooyoung, debuts with “Skibidi” on August 31
Japan corner
August carries a heavy Japanese slate: TWS (“SODA SODA,” August 4), MIYEON (i-dle) (digital single “RUN AWAY,” August 10), Hearts2Hearts (1st Japan single “ICONIC HEART,” August 12), BOYNEXTDOOR (digital single “Boom Boom Boom,” August 18), TOMORROW X TOGETHER (“Setsuna Hanabi,” August 19), ZEROBASEONE (Japan 2nd EP “Kaiki LOVE,” led by “Existence,” August 19), and RIIZE (3rd Japan single “Sunburst,” August 26). TWICE’s “#BEST 2015-2025” lands the same day as RIIZE and is a Japanese release too.
