The story of October 2026

October opened with a release on every date from the 1st through the 11th. The 7th and 8th formed a crowded back-to-back stretch: singles and single albums led October 7, then the 8th widened the mix with mini albums, EPs and Jooyoung's full album 90s Kids. Japanese releases threaded through those Korean-heavy line-ups, while JO1's US EP ANIMAL on the 2nd and RE:WIND's US single on the 9th added another regional lane.

October 12 drew another large cluster, with INI's Japanese release at 00:00 JST followed by Korean mini albums, EPs and a single album at 18:00 KST. NCT WISH's I SPY and PLAVE's HYPERDRIVE anchored the evening; the 13th gave singles more room alongside Korean mini albums, with KATSEYE adding a US release. Albums regained the larger share on October 14; singles edged ahead on the 15th, before October 16 balanced singles with full albums and an EP around Eric Nam's Confessions of a Lonely Heart and YOUHA's pasado.

Mini albums and EPs carried the larger share on October 19, anchored by NMIXX's Strange Muse. CNBLUE's Japanese album FULL CIRCLE brought Japan back into the mix on the 21st, when albums and EPs shared the date evenly with singles; singles then led the 22nd and 23rd. October 25 began another daily run: the 26th stretched from RIIZE at 00:00 KST to ILLIT's BREAK EVEN at 18:00 KST, and mini albums and EPs shared October 28 evenly with singles. Albums held the larger share on October 29 around KIM FEEL's full album JOURNEY, before October 30 switches entirely to singles across Korean and Japanese releases.
